Gage, 28, further said that it isn’t annoying being romantically linked to his pal, saying, “I’ll take it as a compliment. Archie is a hottie. He’s a good one.”

The “You” star sparked romance rumors with Madekwe, 29, when he told TMZ Wednesday that he was married to the “Midsommar” actor.

“Yeah this is my new husband,” he joked after paparazzi asked if they were together upon seeing the duo walk into the VF gathering at Bar Marmont in Hollywood.

Gage is currently focusing on himself following his split from husband Chris Appleton despite dabbling with a few dating apps.

“I took a break from them,” he told TMZ over the weekend. “They’re not for me right now. Right now, I’m finding myself. I’m just loving — I’m dating me.”

The actor further said he’s experienced exponential personal growth since his shocking breakup last year.

Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, though he and Gage were reportedly not on good terms.

“This is not where they wanted this to end up,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. ”It will take time for both to get to a place where they can move past this and get on with their lives.”

The former couple tied the knot on April 22, 2023 in Las Vegas in a small ceremony officiated by the SKIMS founder.
