After Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism debuted a powerful ad during Super Bowl 2024 – featuring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. advisor Dr. Clarence B. Jones – we hear the organization will unveil another spot during the Oscars telecast this weekend.
We’re told the latest ad, titled “Neighbors,” will air during Sunday’s Academy Awards. It showcases the true story of a teen boy whose bar mitzvah was interrupted by a bomb threat to a Jewish temple in Boston, Mass., last year.
The spot dramatically shows how a church across the street stepped up to support the boy’s family and community by offering up its space as a haven for the ceremony to continue safely after it was frighteningly interrupted by police sirens.

The foundation says that the one-minute ad also reflects how antisemitic incidents are “skyrocketing in the US and globally,” as “895 Jewish institutions in the US received bomb threats in 2023 alone.”

The ad is part of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism’s $25 million “Stand Up to Jewish Hate” campaign, and coincides with the first anniversary of its launch of the “blue square” as a “symbol of standing up to Jewish hate and all hate.”
The campaign has been supported by Tom Brady, Mike Tyson, Dave Matthews and Jon Bon Jovi.

The organization noted, “While the mission started to fight the rise in antisemitism, it has since become an overarching call to action in the fight against all hate. The blue square has since become a universal symbol representing this anti-hate mission, and symbolizes the need to constantly stand up for others.”
